Was reading all the press past couple day, the protests, and even talked with one protester about US going to the Middle East says she would not support her son who was going to serve with the US Army. Can you believe that BS!
I know there is a lot of mixed feeling on going to war in Iraq and for myself I am not sure going to war is going to solve any problems. I see both sides of the fence, one beeing we are just beeing Bullys--which in some ways I agree. On the other side, it is preventive messures--which I can see. Nothing is more scarey then a third world country with poor safety measures on handling weapons of mass distruction and beeing a religuous fanatic.
No matter what the opinion on YES we should or NO we should not go to war. WHAT we should be doing is showing our Men and Women serving in the ARmed forces that we are behind them and we support them.. AND..AND we should show the loved ones that they are leaving behind that we CARE for the sacrifices they Fathers, Moms, SOns and daughters are making.
FREEDOM comes with a PRICE TAG. Seems like a lot of Americans, especially the Protestors have forgotten that.
I SALUT! (S)
God Bless and God Speed to our troops and may they come home soon and safe.
