Hehe - not hardly

We upped 5 B17s with escort (ponies) and headed to rook HQ. Bombers dropped on Rook HQ unmolested, down it goes.

AKNimitz: Ze Rooks are Blinded!
AXE: What a waste of time, we already have 3 goons OTW.
AKNimitz: hehehe thats what you think.

You see, our plan was to drop HQ, and send our cap fighters down to maul the incoming goons. Worked like a charm

I think when it was all said and done around 8 goons died ... I even got one in my B17

Waste of time? Not a chance, what a fun mission!

Yes, but you eventually run out of gas...so, as stated in earlier thread, the strat is still hosed.

Sure takes a P51 with 100% fuel and DT to run outta gas
