Yes it is an interesting report about Iraq.
Yes I did read the whole thing.
It's wrong about DU though. Even the MOD has very stringent rules about handling DU shells. Once they are fired, of course they are partially converted into airborn contaminants. Alpha aprticle emitters like DU are pretty safe in block form, but once inhaled, it is a different story. Even if it wasn't radioactive, it is still a toxic heavy metal, like cadmium, mercury, lead etc.
The main push of the document seems to be to dispel Iraqi propaganda.
Shock Horror! Iraq uses propaganda as a weapon! This document doesn't offer any new information, cobbled together as it is from a dozen varying sources, some more reliable than others, and many from newspaper articles, including, amazingly enough op-ed pieces.
Now correct me if I am wrong but shouldn't news services (like Fox) avoid using other news sources as primary sources?
It's a bit like CNN making transcriptions of BBC news broadcasts and rebroadcasting them, hoping they were correct in the first place.
So yes, an interesting document, for all sorts of reasons. Not false, not entirely true, a mix of both .
