Strategic Dweebery Question

I spend a few hours punching the Rook training centers over the weekend... Seemed odd. A CHOG can take out a building with a few rounds of 20mm but a Panzer with 76mm (or was it 72?) takes 3 to 4 rounds to take down the building.

Would think that a single round of HE would do the trick.

Or am I missing something?

LOL OK I'll fess up, I rolled a panzer to a training facility. Came up over the edge of the hill, took 3 ack pings, bam, eng's dead, turrets dead.

Exited out in disgust and went to find something a bit more exciteing.  

Personally if I'm going to hit strategic targets I'd soooner do it in a bomber. It's faster that a GV, and I don't have to worry about the darn ack.

Not to mention a 1k bomb kills LOTS of those little shacks

FYI, it's 75mmKwkL48 on the IVH, and yes, the argument proving conclusively that the 20mm Hispano is capable of outperforming a 122mm gun  
HTC's tank needs work, period, I don't think the planes (or their guns) are off, just the ground stuff, A tanker tends to take some things for granted with an armored vehicle, climbing a 25degree slope for one, and you can't do it here.
No doubt, they'll look at it in the future.
(One would hope) for now, panzers are pretty targets of limited utility in what is after all a flight sim.
