I'm 42, and my oldest son started flying AH at age 4 (He'll be 7 this weekend). The current 4 yr. old *(youngest son) doesn't have any desire to fly..he enjoys MS Train simulator though! :)

It seems to me that one of the reasons the average age is 30 something is because this is a pay for play. And at about .50 cents aday its ok by me.

Age?  Uh... I forget.  My wife keeps track of that for me.  I stoped counting at 32.  She reminds me once a year however that I'm getting older by baking an edible memorial and putting candles on it and inviting all our friends over to mock me durring its unveiling.  Last time there were 35 candles on the cake.  It is good to know that I am still younger then at least half of the people in here.

Hey you oldtimers out there, are you supposed to get alsheimers in your 30's?

Ok, my wife is giving me crap because I'm still playing "kids" games.  I'm 28, and they wrote the Kids-r-us song after me.  I have to be an adult and take charge at work, what's wrong with playing some games on my off time.  (Work as a paramedic)  I see way too much serious crap at work to not want to live a little.

On the youngest player, I think my son has you all beat.  He will be 8 months on the 24th and loves to sit on my lap an push buttons, and yank and bank.  Sure screws up my ranking though, so rember when you see "medicboy shot you down"  I'm doing it 1 handed with a baby on my lap!!!!!!!!!  HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL.... well, allowing for the fact some older players may have stopped for various reasons, and younger players come along in the meantime, I would guess the average age could still be around 37; however, I suppose if the survey was 3 years ago, it could be more like 40 now.  Would be interesting to find out.  :)
