Spawn Camping

This got to STOP damnit

ppl are spawn camping , there is NO way to get the GV spawn camping.
This is making me VERY pissed off . Some ppl are landing 100++ kills from spawn camping ( i like to call it xploit ) and i realy think they kinda cheat /xploit the game doing that .

FIx some damn random spawn points , how hard coud it be ?

Allso make more spawn points from the bases so they dont know what direction the GVs come from .

Some guys are complaining about the reality of the planes , look at the GVs  .

Beside weird how those guys with 50 and 100 dollar proffit seems to like spawn camping !!!

realy i think its a xploit and HT shoud prevent this to happend .


I allso qestion the reality of the spawn campers to have 30 or more supplies around them , who woud drive 15 min each time to supplie them ? maybee a second account ????

You cannot spawn camp if nobody is spawning.  At times people just need to admit that an area is too well defended to penetrate.

Look this isnt going away. In fact the game was designed by a camper or at least ht used to camp (I think). Theres nothing wrong with it. You want the field and we dont want you to have it. So we camp out and use the terrain features to hide from you. Yeah we can easily get supplies to us. Sometimes it takes a little prying and radio fill but eventually you get what you want. The more you play the more likely you are to get supplies too. You see if I call for supplies and someone brings them to me then I pass it on by supplying them.

Heres something that will really make you mad. I sit right behind campers with a goon and let out one parcel at a time.  If an enemy comes over to drop an egg on the camper I drop all the supplies and up a fighter (you scrub my back I scrub yours). It works good when you can play as a team. If a camper can get 100 kills before his team can kill the culprit vehicle hangar then its shame on the enemy not the friendly team. Yeah Ive killed one guy as much as seventy times. Its his fault not mine! Whats he think Im going to run out of ammo? And Im never alone on these things either. We usually have five to ten guys doing the same thing.

im bettin this fellow is talking from the angle that to do well in score he will have to spawn camp . wich he finds distastful in a game. i tend to agree but dont think at this late date anything is gonna happen.

and i believe it was sort of  spawn camping that got ht banned from air warrior. so im pretty shure he at least used to enjoy it.

Think of a spawn point as a narrow mountian pass where it's the only access route to a particular base.

If that's my base I'm going to try and set-up an ambush at the pass and try to hold off any ground assult until your VH is killed and the threat neutralized. If I have to fight my way to that pass or not, it's still a threat until capped.


It's a game, have fun with it.

I take your point lars, However, (there had to be a however or a but ......) On a mountain pass at least I might have my gun pointing in your direction and I might even be able to evade your second shot, this way the "spawner" doesn't stand a chance.

Now I admit I did have a tiger on a spawn point this week, just 10 kills though, truth of the matter is if you want to increase rank you simply have to camp at a spawn point, no question about it.  This doesn't just apply to GV's, for any rank increase you have to
manipulate the scoring system.

It would be fairer all around to have random spawn points, not that random that you could appear miles away, but far enough away so the "spawner" has time to traverse his gun as well as the spawn camper.

I will add that it was at least possible to traverse your gun faster before the latest release. I caught a few campers that way and they did not like it at all.

I find a Tiff with 2 x 1K's quite good at stopping spawn campers.

The "people" are, specifically, Dlamb, who capped you last night and kept you from launching a Panzer raid on A59 by staying behind the spawn point from A61.  I was the Panzer parked next to him.

The best way to end spawn campers is the JU-87 Stuka, the SBD Dauntless, a heavy Corsair, a heavy Hellcat, a heavy P-47, a heavy P-38, a Typhoon, a heavy Mustang, a Havoc, a Boston, B-17s, Lancasters, a Val, or a FW190F8.

Spawn campers are usually resupplied by squad mates or folks who know the importance of containing a ground assault threat.
