Nah, the previous owner in the movie was the old hobbit, so IRL Gollum would represent Chimpy's father. Makes the "my precious" thing a little doubtful though...

@Eagler: Where did you find that photo? There's a lengend that some photo of Clinton "before the beauty center" has survived the second era, now I see that was true!!!
