Foiling The Spawn Camper (a strategy)

Here's how I deal with that: PERSISTENCE

While goin' after a spawn camper alone is an exercise in frustration, it can be done.  Here's how I get them..and I keep trying till I do. Everytime you respawn fire off some smoke rounds.  Don't bother with the engine..just fire off smoke.
Keep doing this until your adversary doesn't see you immediately after you spawn, giving you time to rotate your turret and kill his gun....then you can play with him.   Eventually you'll get the sucka  -  especially if more than one of you are trying to spawn.

And that brings up another important point:  Get others to help you hunt the sucka. A spawn campers longevity is reduced to a mere minute or two when many of you spawn at the same time.  They just get overwhelmed and can't engage multiple targets simultaneously.

Between the smoke and multiple spawns a spawn camper has no choice but to die.  I only hope that I run into another Tiger trying that watermelon with me...bye bye perkies.  :D

Makes sense, I'm sure it'd work, but....wouldn't a heavy fighter from a nearby field be easier?

LOL - I'm reminded of something you could do in AW about this...CAR BOMB!

You assume too much Stratcop.  I prefer to sit just on the other side of a ridge, about D3.0 out (Roughly 1.5 miles out) with me gun peeping over the edge...as you and your "friends" spawn, I just pick ya off from deep downtown.  If you're moving, that makes my job easier(I'm a bird hunter, moving targets and all ;) )  If you get more than 4 spawning, I just re-locate and pick you off my another angle. Smoke does nothing for you once you have someone ranged.

Hey Rip,

I account for that.  If you're alone you're dead.
The smoke works for us and against you.  Having to relocate yourself kinda suggest that, no?

On top of that disadvantage, you have another. You don't have a high enough rate of fire to kill us all...no matter where you hide.  :D

Besides, if you prove to be too stubborn and refuse to die I'll just hire culero to JABO your butt!

My personal GV record is 73, and I landed them. 4 guys spawning (thank you). And thank goodness for Knits who are kind enough to resupply us.  Any questions contact my secretary.

one word: stuka.

I had a 7 kill sortie going until I was busted by the third spit encounter at my base, he sauntered in unopposed by nearby friendlies got on me, blew off half my right wing, came back (with two friendlies now on him) shot me the rest of the way down.

When I reupped he had about 7 friendlies on him on the deck and he was still alive as I flew back to my target.
Gone from the game. Please see Spikes or Nefarious for any Ahevents.net admin needs.

Last night I saw our shore battery capping the spawn point.  Now that was pretty freaky!

Have you noticed the small construction projects going on near spawn points recently? Since these seem to be the most frequented areas as of late, HT is building park entrance shacks to charge for "camper" admission and the other will be a curio shop where Aces High merchandise will be sold.
