Since they use them on thier wrist bands its no deal at all

Thought of something else as well... It makes perfect sense to identify each baby clearly.

Ever watch a newborn? I don't think it's true of babies delivered via C-section, but naturally delivered babies come out with really odd shaped heads. There was a particularly long delivery with my son... over twenty hours. His appearance seemed to change rapidly and from one day to the next, he looked quite different as his skull changed shape.
