So, the motherboard of my trusty games PC is off having its capacitors replaced and I need my dose of AH. I fire up AH on this PC (Celeron 400, V3-3000), reduce the resolution to 1024x768x16 and get a whole 15 FPS.
It's only going to be a week.

capacitors? how did that come about . never heard of replacing them.
