Boyd: The Fighter Pilot Who Changed the Art of War
« on: January 27, 2003, 03:21:06 PM »
This is the title of a new book about a fighter pilot (never heard of him) who revolutioned aerial warfare with new ideas about tactics, as well as warfare in general.  The author stated that Boyd was the brains behind the F-15, F-16, F-18 and our victory in the Gulf War.

Anybody familiar with this man?  Has anyone read the book yet?  Interested in learning more.

Regards, Shuckins
