Whatever man.  Most people just pick one team to win.  I guess when you pick them both and try to justify one as "heart" and one as "head" then you can be 100% correct every week.

Nope, last week I posted I was wrong, when I picked the Eagles over Tampa Bay.

To be a successful gambler in sports bets, you HAVE to ask yourself "Who do I WANT to win?" and "Who do I THINK will win?" and then understand what those two terms mean.   Always bet on who you THINK will win, not on who you WANT to win.

Its hard to support a team that scr3ws its fan base like Al Davis does.  The Oakland-Anaheim-Oakland Raiders fans were outnumbered at the Super Bowl by Bucs' fans, not because the Bucs have more fans, but because the Bucs ticket office actually distributed its share of SB tickets to its season ticket holders unlike the Raiders who only distributed 6,000 and sold the rest to Al Davis' select cronies who paid top dollar for them.

Its not like Al needed the money - the Raiders got $8million from the Bucs at the beginning of the season.

Al sold his crowd support to the top bidder, and some of those bidders were Bucs fans, no doubt.  Even the casual football fan got behind the Cinderella-story Bucs after we kicked that 2nd field goal to pull ahead 6-3.

If I was a Raiders' season ticket holder, I'd be p1ssed.

Yep, thats why it has a higher death rate, paralysis injury rate than any other sport that deals with a game ball.

Most guys like you are just not big or strong enough to play, thus the grapes were sour. ;)

he was outplayed by an FSU QB!  one that rode the pine at FSU!  ;)

Actually, I have nothing against the Raiders, I kinda like them.  However, I adopted the Bucs when I was at FSU (they were the "local team" according to the FOX affiliate in Tallahassee) so I pulled for the Bucs in every game they play in except when they play my "home" team.  Heh, gotta love it, Bucs when the Super Bowl, yet my 'Aints beat them twice!

oh, as for the rioting...  and we make fun of soccer hooligans!  Sheesh, at least they riot against the OTHER team's fans and don't tear up their OWN town.  ;)

FunkedUp, I don't like the raiders because you root for them.  Its pretty much the same reason I don't like the Texas Longhorns (Lance is my biatch).

Ripsnort, the only prediction that I heard in regards to the Superbowl that was accurate was by SOB.  He predicted that no matter what the outcome, you'd try to say that you picked it all along.  He was the only person to be 100% right.
