Got a PC from a friend, he said all it needed was a CPU and it will work (had HD, RAM, Vid. Card, ect....). So, I went out and bought the cheapest thing I could find (Celeron, becuase I wasn't sure if the PC even worked). Sure enough, it didn't work :) Here's what happens. PC starts up as soon as it's plugged in. I don't have to hit the power button or anything, just starts up. Nothing is displayed on the screen, and I hear no beeps.

Sound like a bad jumper configuration? He did say he messed around with the jumpers before he gave it to me...

Got PC to boot sequence. PC boots up like it should. The second after it says 64,000 Kb memory passed, it freezes. On the top right it says post code: 6A (dunno if this helps). Any ideas? This system might use pc66 or pc100 ram. I have pc133 in now. Could this be the problem?

The memory shouldnt matter, the board will only recognize it at what it is supposed to.  I used PC133 in a board that only supported PC100 with no problems.  Best thing to do is find out who makes the Mobo and what model, then find out what that post code means.
