All while poor GI's actually fighting would be lucky to make Sergeant.

Interesting list. Didn't know so many avoided the draft.

You are pretty quick to dismiss his "films", however literally millions of troops were watching them as part of their training.

I guess you don't consider training to be very importent to a military, huh? If that is the case, how little you know.

Hey raspberry danish you might have noticed he made 1LT before the war even started.  If anything his promotion was delayed by being in the film unit.  My grandad went from SGT to CPT in just three years (42-45), serving in the airborne.
