Ok i just tried the Panzer for the first time last night (yes the first time.. i'm not a tank guy) and was shocked to see the main gun having 1,000+ shells.. is that a realistic number?

I tried searching the web and couldnt find a number

Thats not cannon shells. That's ammo for the coax machine gun. Hit the secondary fire button to use it   :)

Thats 1000+ rounds for the turret machine gun.. not the shells. There is a 50 cal (thinks that the calibar) machine gun on the turret also, hit your "fire all " trigger and it fires the turret machine gun.

I must admit i was like "wtf" when i first saw that also, but i figured out what that ammo was for. The Panzers ammo is actualy shown on the "aim point" when you zoom.

Hope that helps

When you are in the vehicle hangar, the weapons loadout selections show how many shells you have.  Also, toggling through weapons while in the main gun sight will show you too.

Basically, 80 is about the most you'll have of in the way of main gun shells.  .50 cal on the otherhand...

It's a 7.92mm MG, not a .50caliber MG.
