Know what would be fun? A Free For All ENY 40( or ENY 50 my first choice) or better Tour/Day/Arena/Event or something.

Hell if my ego could handle it (and I don't think it could :p ) maybe I'll try fly a tour that way in MA.  Something like this might tie us over while we waiting for new planes since we don't use these "old" planes much anyway?

Fair enough.  Honestly though, you recorded your last kill in a MA F4U1-A 4 months ago, once the FM2 was introduced you gave it up.   Not a darn thing wrong with any of that, you are having fun in your own monotonous way - whatever floats yer boat - knock yourself out! :)

However as far as I can tell ou have not recorded a single kill in a 109, of any version, (much less 109e) in any MA tour ever.

It was good bait to toss out though, you got me  FISH ON!

(It's really just an F4U-1 because it has the bird cage canopy.  The F4U-1A introduced the regular canopy we are all familiar with.)

The first time I flew a 109E in AH, I thought my joystick had lost calibration.

It rolled so BAD and SLOW that I thought something was busted.

Thanks for reminding me guys, I want to track down the historical roll rate on the real 109E.

Anyone have the figures? Was she REALLY that slow in roll rate?

No and good luck finding anymore.......

I have looked and looked and thats the best I have come up with.

Like you I could hardly believe the roll rate, especially since the only other guage I had was comparisons against other 109es in other games.

However, the 109e is capable and with its good rudder authority its does "ok".

Urchin looked into this as well, his conclusion was the 109e roll rate was fine but that the spit roll rate was a bit high.

But theres no denying the "feel" one gets when rolling the 109e.

Does anyone know where I can find Eric Browns flight test of the 109E ? He tested a captured version.

I think someone in the USA is flying the worlds only airworthy emil. Anyone know their website?
