Typhoon: The red-headed step child of HTC?
« on: September 11, 2000, 09:30:00 AM »
I noticed these nice fixes in the Read.me of 1.04:
Quote
Fixed a visual problem with the rocket tube on the P-47D-25.

Fixed the gunsight texture on the P-47D-30.

Fixed a weight and ammo load inaccuracy on the Fw 190A-5.

Fixed the elevation range on the upper turret of the B-26.

Fixed the gunsight on the F4U so that it remains square.

Fixed the AA machine-gun on the Panzer so that it no longer shoots off center.

I can't help but wonder why the Typhoon's drop tanks were left off the plate for 1.04. If it was so important to get the correct ammo and weight for the FW-190A-5, why wasn't the correct loadout for the Typhoon just as important? We Tiffy drivers have been waiting patiently for some time now.

Get your Drop Tanks for yer tiffie, and let my Fw190A5 as it was in 1.03 (acceleration, climbrate, and 780rounds for 20mm  ).

Seriosly, banana, after watching the "new" typhoon in 1.04, to whine about lack of DTs that in WWII were rarely used, is at least really unfair.

You have a killing machine in new Typhoon. Have fun in it.Anyway HTC has repeated several times that they will take a look into this relatively minor issue. So maybe in one of the patches, or in next version.

Be patient. All at its time, trust in the force, young skywalker
