Mother Murray sound familiar.  Speaking words of wunder.

At least Cantwell seems to be able to form independant thoughts.

Seattle should stick with fish and coffee because Politics is the great waste of the PNW.  Hell...just look at Gary Lock.

"stressed"??

LOL!!

It's not as if he got yanked outta college, issued a green suit and dropped in a jungle where a few hundred nasty lil dudes wearin pointy hats are waitin to shoot his bellybutton dead.. and probably will no matter how smart and well advised he thinks he is.  THATS stress.

No, sir; this guy walked into a nice cushy office thanks to his daddys money and said, "lets get something done". Hey, that's cool.. musta been a heluva rush.

Now, true; he's had a few fast balls and curves tossed his way, buy dammit; thats just the nature of the job. Being in the seat of ultimate responsibility means the guys ultimatley responsible.  He'd better be able to handle it, and get it right, or we're gonna toss his bellybutton outta there and give somebody else a crack at it. Hope he can handle the stress? You bet. Can he? I dunno. You better hope he does. I know I sure as hell hope he can...

If he don't, maybe next time we'll pick a monkey thats been in a real 'STRESS" situation and survived. That is, if WE survive.

As to free rides, Clinton hung out while GW works.

He'll hack it....just make sure you tell me I was right Hang:)

My Dad told me this the first time when I was around 6 yrs old...I never got it until I was 35....

Dubya doesn't strike me as the kind of guy who gets worried about stuff to the point where it depresses him.  I don't think we've had any presidents like that since Nixon.

You know, thinking about it, I think the ones who hold best up under that constant demand to be "on" are the ones who really enjoy being center stage and natural optimists. Slick Willy was one, for sure...

Of course,  Tricky Dick Nixon certainly was a burgl... er, brooder - :)

You know the feeling you get when you're awakened by the garbage truck at 5 AM and you realize you've forgotten to drag your overflowing trash container out to the curb for pick-up-- for the second week in a row? I wake up like that every morning due to stress. It's a wonderful motivator.
