Rotating Function/Editor
« on: February 06, 2003, 10:26:49 AM »
Was wondering why i cant seem to rotate an airfield.
I would like to change the Run Way heading of the field.

I am trying to rotate the whole field as an, Object Rotate Function
but no luck.
Heres is how i am attempting to rotate it.
I left click and bracket the field in the red select box.
The field turns red.  Then i click to highlight the Rotate function from the list of Object Manipulation tools.
Using the little Hand cursor that now appears over the terrain, i try to rotate the airfield.  But nothing changes.
Any Help would be much appreciated.
Thank Much............. Mugzeee

I should have added Mugzeee.

If the SNAP BOX is checked, and the SPACING is at 2640 when Fields are placed, they will be centered in the Grid Box.

Now if you want to keep it that way when you do a GROUP ROTATE then the SNAP BOX should be checked, and the SPACING set at 2640 before you select the Field and then GROUP ROTATE.

You can see what I mean if you experiment with a PORT and GROUP ROTATE it with SNAP BOX checked and then try with it unchecked.
