Effect of C.G on stability/agility
« on: February 22, 2003, 04:55:37 PM »
In RL, the position of the Centre of Gravity of a fighter effects its stability and agility. Forward  = good stability, poor agility. Aft = the opposite.
Does anyone know if C.G change due to fuel burn is modelled in AH, and if it is, does it affect the above?

Thanks in advance.

yes it is, the P51 with the aft aux tank filled will handle really bad at low speed (see stall ) just like the real one.
