Goodbye Bobby Bowden
« on: February 13, 2003, 08:42:42 AM »
My friend said he just heard on the radio that Bobby Bowden is going to coach in the carolinas. I can't find anything about it on espn.com. Any of you FSU guys got any inside info on this? Just a rumor or what?

Nothing on the radio here about it.  If Bobby does anything, I can't imagine it would be move to another university.  Retire...maybe.  He's really starting to look his age.

Last I heard, five more years barring health or failure is Bobby's time table for retirement.

Apparently just a rumor from an idiot. I haven't heard anything else about it. Actually kinda relieved myself. I'd like to see bobby have some more winning seasons before he retires. Is there a "bobby bowden blvd." on the campus yet? :)

no there isn't.

I am sure something will get named after him once he retires though.
