I think that AH could really use a Bf109K4 model in the game.  It bascially already has the flight model with the G10 but the K4 was aerodynamically streamlined giving it a noticably higher climb rate and top speed especially at alt.  The K4 was an important late war variant and deserves to have a place in the game.

If its so aerodynamicly streamlined, how would it have the same flight model?

I meant that the G10 model is similar, same powerplant, weight, and configuration.  It would have to be slightly altered to give the K4 a higher top speed and climb rate but other than that it would fly very, very similarly to the G10

This has come up before I think.  If I remember correctly, the G-10 is so similar to the K-4 that it's probably not a high priority.  Something about the G-10 program being a refit of older G series airframes to bring them up to K-4 standards.  

Somebody who knows more can feel free to correct me on this though.

our g10 is not a k4. It has the same eng but thats where it ends. This has been covered before.

The only 109 really needed is a109g6/asm or g14/asm to fill the gap between out g6 and the g10.

Would the Fettner (sp?) tabs on the K-4 make a noticable improvement in roll rate at speed? That might be a good reason to model the K-4 beyond what we have now with the G-10.

The Flettner tabs would do that.

Another improvement incorporated in the K-4 series I learned only recently about was a reduced elevator gain for better elevator control at high speeds (Radinger/Otto, "Messerschmitt Me 109").

The last thing we need is another plane for the ETO, regardless of country.

We have good representation in the ETO for the most part. I hope we don't get em...
