Saitek X36 Throttle and Twin Engines
« on: January 26, 2003, 09:57:55 PM »
I recently got a new machine running XP and downloaded the latest (and I understand the last) Saitek XP drivers for my X36 USB.  Everything seems to be working ok, except that when I use my throttle on P38s or any other type of twin it seems to automatically decrease power to one engine while increasing it on the other (I can see two equal and opposite waves when I run the AH calibration and move the throttle). I've tried reversing the axis on one of the throttles on the AH joystick setup page, but this doesn't appear to help.

Anyone else run into this and have any suggestions?  Thx.

You have to invert the contols for the other engines.   Then they will work fine.   It's odd to have to do this but is required for all engines to work the same.   Just go to Eng2, Eng3, Eng4 and check the invert box.
