1 cup white sugur
1 cup salt peter
1/4 cup peanuts

Melt sugur on medium heat till it's caramel brown.Add salt peter until well mixed.Add peanuts and let cool for 30 minutes.

Looks like peanut brittle,tastes like crap and when you light a small chunk,makes a great smoke bomb.

 next time you get to portland stop at Cambells (just off I-205 at the powell exit)  

after spending 9 years of my life in KC I have aquired a taste for good BBQ.  so far Cambells is the only really good BBQ I've found this far north.

btw-  mild=hot,  medium=VERY hot, hot='you gonna die', I often wimp out and go for the sweet sauce.

thanks for the tip CA!  We usually stop in Portland for chow on our drives to Vegas, I'll check them out next time:)

If you want real meat from the real South then come visit my country :) with current exchange rate you ll be eating the bestest meat EVER in the best restaurant with the best wine for less than 30 bucks.
And you can get a really good meal for 6 bucks too.
Of course you might get robbed, kidnapped etc but hey, dont you guys like adventure?.
