-Been thinking how some kind of API like interface within AH might help develop auxlirary functions of the game... i.e. player/programmers could write an mp3 player into the AH-API to have an in game MP3 player. Things like this that HTC is not going to spend time on. Maybe a tiny in game net browser / bbs viewer.
Seems like it would allow player development with out the releaseing of source code. .. and i should stress like Mitsu's sound pack for instance all would be unsupported, use at your own risk type of stuff .. but may allow for a few fun things like that an game mp3 player.
HTC ever thought of something like that? Maybe not worth the extra effort and security issues it might cause...? But my point for wondering is -look at what happens when you let players make maps....you get good maps.
-My other idea is to transmit music over AH voice... like an AH radio station. i.e. i tune 222 and just plug a speaker cord into a mic plug- or do it with software .. but anyway have AH-voice transmit a winamp signal or somthing. Don't know if HTC would frown on that tho
and don't know if the music would be choppy from being sent over UDP without a huge buffer or TCP order fixes..... maybe voice uses TCP/IP, bet it has too now that i think about it
