Anybody know if there will be a tail hook on the sea hurrricane?  I found a good article about the sea hurricane http://www.airandseamodels.com/demo/nicki/story_of_nicki.htm operating from a cve in the north atlantic.

Yes. It did have a hook. Do you get 'Flypast' magazine in the states? Cover picture this month is a Sea Hurri and there's an article inside including a cutaway diagram of a Sea Hurri IIc which is virtually identical to our IIc but with a hook added.

Oh, btw 'our' Sea Hurri, the one in your pic above, is just a repaint of the IIc I did for special event / CT maps. It's pretty easy to land on a CV even without a hook  :D

There's a Sea Hurricane IB at Old Warden (England), belonging to the Shuttleworth Collection.  I think it's the only type left in the world, well, definitely the only airworthy one.

The arrestor hook is the V or A frame type which ever way you look at it.
