What I have read so far I like.  Is there going to be a training arena?  If so how about thr following:
1.  An unlimited ammo/ordenance/fuel supply option so you don't have to keep landing. Especially for bombers practicing high alt bombing at 20 or 30K all that time being waisted for climbing and landing and people practiceing dive bombing and rocketry.

2.  Computer generated enemy fighters that you fight against. To practice your SA, ACM and Gunery skills  You can set options for the number of enemy aircraft you wnat to encounter and thier skill level from beginer to expert or cadet to ace.  I have seen this in other fighter games like warbirds III and falcon 3.

3.  The ability for squads to personalize thier skins, like the Tuskugee airman were identified by thier red vertical stabalizers. Maybe even to have your name labeled under your canopy. Or the abilty to add nose art for your victories.

4. How about the ability to have your aircraft repaired?

I've been pushing for some time to have repair stations (i.e. fighter hangars given an actual use) where X time on the pad results in repairs.  The restricted living (i.e. die up die up die up die up cycle) idea would be a great time to introduce actual maintainence into the picture.

Since we can see everyone's noseart in a squadron...i think a squadron planeskin would be a GREAT addition and a very welcome idea, not to mention not too difficult to incorporate.

Good Thinkin!

A P-51 squad with its own original colors would be a great idea, get them approved like you get a noseart approved.

Repair stations would be a great addition as well.

I imagine the training arena would be something quite a bit different... something which can help the new players practically, teaching them in the basics and skills they would need to survive and accomplish the missions.

I imagine it would begin with the most simple, take off/landing procedures, and progress through some basic maneuvers, tips on how to keep formation, manuals and trainings on rocket firing, dive bombing... shooting at drones for aerial gunnery and ground attack gunnery and etc.. :)

I hope it can be an interesting "course" that can teach people practically, and also with a spot of humour and fun :) Maybe like 'obstacle course' with gunnery targets in between the courses and etc etc...

Sounds like something really fun to take over and over again. Worth the investment. ;)
