Heh... I jumped in south of the border to help ecourage a certain Central American nation to STFU. Other than that I didnt do sh(* or see sh*&.

I did save the west from alot of Korean Beer though.
Of course, I only see what he posts here and what he does in the MA.  I know virtually nothing about the man.  I think its important for people to realize that we don't really know squat about each other.... definately not enough to use words like "hate".

Ah Yess,
I too have saved the world from countless bottles of Parkbrau Pils, Pirmanetor, "Real" Budwies bier and even the Bitburger Brau.

It was a great loss when I rotated home and had to contend with Amerikanshier Shiess Bier.
I Home brew now.......

Cars, I read that being a tank crewman was the most hazardous MOS in Vietnam.  I believe it was something like 37% casualtie rate.  Can you comment on this?  What type of weapons did the VC/NVA possess that could disable a tank?

davidpt40,

Yeah, tanks are a big high priority tgt. I think its much safer than walking around in the bush tho. We ran mostly convoy escort so for us it was anti-tank mines and b-40's. Some 75mm recoiless around too but never saw one of those. It was dangerous running around unbuttoned but to hot not to so saw some small arms and shrapnel wounds that never shoulda happened. Not as bad as walking tho.
