The Republican party is the party of less government?

I'm not even American, if I was my instincts would be for the Democrats. But whatever the outlook of either party the system seems to work. Both resist the madcap schemes of the other and ultimately that's how democracy works. Should one or other become dominant then there danger lurks.

At the moment though Bush seems to be doing his best to ensure that the next President is a Democrat.

ldf... you haven't looked into the voting records of the two respective parties on firearms issues then... to think that your party is just kidding or.. that our second amendment rights are not threatened by your party shows that you are not paying attention or, are simply naive.

democrats will circumvent your gun rights at every opportunity.
