I guess I'm kind of confused with the new radar settings. Is is realistic to believe that the allies and germans would have spent so much effort installing radar systems everywhere if they only showed their own planes? Granted, WWII aircraft didn't have GPS nor (with a few exceptions) did they have onboard radar, but they did have ground station radar that would relay enemy positions to airborne aircraft. I guess we can live without knowing where the enemy planes are but it's a real pain in the butt climbing to 30k before leaving your own airspace and that seems to be the only way to survive. This also has really solved the bomber problems. Flying a big slow bomber with no AI gunners is suicide. The few I have piloted in 108 have gotten blown apart while I was looking thru the bomb site.
