I don't really know what the story is behind the "sore point", but I'm sure it can be resolved easily enough. The CMs aren't inherently evil.

... but they *do* have to make decisions based on schedules, practicality, and a host of things that may not always be appearent to everyone. At times, who knows, it may look callous... it might have looked that way in your case. However, based on my experience with that crew, I'm sure that careful consideration was given to whatever you had proposed (did you propose an event?). Can you email me about this?
