Hi!

If you interested in Combat reports of B17 Crews over Germany try:

"Half a wing, three engines and a prayer"

Very informative and really scary to read ....

Gotarii
That will be ISBN 0 8306 8189 2 paper back this time :=))

Still that is not exactly what I will call "with alot of action." - but good read if you are interested in the subject (Hartmann) and not WWII per se .

Lots to choose from of course, what comes to my mind is Pierre Clostermann's war memoirs, sorry havnt got english title or number.A classic and an exellent read, even more recommendable as the AH Typhoon carries his colours!
