Anthrax in news papers? Rut Roh
« on: October 08, 2001, 08:04:00 AM »
I couldn't find that post from last week, but here is case #2 in Florida, and they worked at the same plant.
ABC News

I'm not to knowlegable on how well Anthrax carries in mediums such as a News Paper, but if you have ever seen a New Paper being made, then you could imagine how easy it would be to introduce a bit of anthrax into the process.  Simply dumping a few small containers into the mix.
The question on my mind is, can anthrax survive the paper process/chemicals, and in turn, could a reader flipping pages inhale a sufficient amount to be affected?
