so you'd rather someone opened a new thread just to reply?

I think the Stiky Note indicated that we sould do our best to reply to an existing thread on a particular subject before we open a new one. Sorry...talk to HTC

Im sure HT means not to have multiple ACTIVE posts on the same subject.  There is usually no reason to add a reply to a year old post, especially in pics and screenshots as many of the images may no longer be there.  Its also quite silly and useless to add a reply to a huge 10 page thread from 3 years ago.  Numerous people will not realize how old the first 100 posts are and may start respoding to issues, questions and comments that arn't even valid any longer.

There are some rare occasions when dredging up old post is benificial, but in my experience 90% of the time its detrimental, 9% of the time its silly, but doesnt matter, and only 1% of the time is digging up 1-2 year old posts a good thing.
