I have tried preshading Math.. It is interesting. Very hard not to cover up the whole deal with too much paint in the main coats.

Oh ya and the thing to use for making canopys is Parafilm M....

I have had some great success with Bare Metal Foil. Also, I have found the pre-cut masks work well too. I used EZ-Masks for the SBD (I'll be damned or cross-eyed if I was gonna BMF that greenouse). I have some Black Magic masks for the F-14 I am working on, so I will see how well they work.

Very nice model. Nice weathering also. Funny though with all the kill markings. Thought the Japanese military during wwII wasnt into celebrating individual achievment with kill markings. Saboro and Taty didnt have any on their machines. Now that I think about it, I dont recall ever seeing a zero with kill markings painted on.

Edit: Probably a late war thing. I remember some home island defense fighters having kill markings.

the kill markings was painted really.
this zero's picture did not exist but some others have the kill markings picture exist really.
IJN kill markings was painted not for individual but for the plane.
anyway really exist.
