I dont understand why you do not believe me. I sware, on that NOE mission, I did not auger, but rather a super-giant, mean-ugly ground worm-troll-like thingy-magigy jumped out of the ground and hate my plane.

As for me there are so many who have helped me I couldnt begin to pick out any one, from the AK'S helping with 51 flying to bubbi109 helping with 109's to airmagedon squad with SA to 52nd and The Damned squad teaching me how to stay fast thanks to Coach and the several hundred that I cant even remember their names at this moment; I SALUTE YOU ALL.

If I ever become a good sim pilot it will be because of you all each and everyone.

Favorite pilots? Donno if that's a fair question. Like others have already said, my favorite is always the last guy who's shown such incredible incompetance that I've actually been able to shoot him down. (I typically find that these guys are usually AFK or drunk or both.)

Who do I RESPECT as both a pilot and an online personality? That's maybe a bit more of what the original question should have been.

Hitech. Not only is he a good online pilot, he can make it work in real life also. As I found out when we fought in the air for real at a Fighter Pilots USA competition. And he's great to drink with too. (Don't let him buy you too many Kamakazi's if you're gonna be dueling at 5,000 feet by 8:00AM the next morning.)
Drex. His praises have been sung already in this thread, but I've got no problem adding to them. I've been flying online combat sims since the early 90's and have simply never run across a better overall stick than him. There may be guys who are almost his equal in their favorite ride, but they'll still lose the majority of the time. Hell, he could be in a TBM and kill most guys in their favorite ride. His skill alone is worthy of anyones respect, but he's also just a good guy. Not a glory hound, friendly, honorable. (He probably doesn't remember it, but I'd been away from online sims for over a year and a half. Last thing I'd flown was WB in early 1999. I logged into WB, saw his name in the buffer and gave him a . He immediately responded with an and the little catchphrase which I used in WB. The fact that he remembered me, by no means a remarkable or noteworthy pilot, drew me right back into this community and made me realize why the truly GOOD guys don't ever need to toot their own horn.)

there are a few top notch pilots out there that are also cool dude's. Manx, KEV367th, ICEMAW, Frenchy, and a few others, there are also good pilots who are prettythangHOLES, but I will not name them.

I nominate my wingie, PNUS, cause you can't have CLAP without him, only half as infective...er effective. And I just love the way he manages to get me killed bailing his sorry butt out of one scrape or another while he manages to ditch and leave me holding the bag. Thats my boy....
