Tank City should be in every new map.
I've had so much fun with this area, almost sad to see a reset. It's no brainer fun when the gangbanging gets outta hand.

I agree!  

I have more success in that place in my M8 than I do in a Tiger or Panzer IV!

lol, disable their turret with one shot, then hack away at them until they 'splode, run into a building, or exit.  

I've continually had 8+ kill sorties before getting killed or landing.

The gv place on the trinity map is very FUN...I spent about 3 hours crawling behind the buildings..hearing the enemy tracks behind the city building is a thrill!

I say yes to Tank City!

Well, when Trinity is finally updated, there will be a few changes to the action in the crater.

First, I removed some of the high poly buildings. This should help a tiny bit with frame rates (though I'm really not sure). I also reduced the total number of buildings in the city.

Next, I moved some buildings around to better cover spawns and reduce the chance that someone can fire from one spawn point to another. I also took a suggestion I got here and moved some buildings out in the countryside.

Finally, the fields have been moved around. Each country will have 1 field that spawns to the city. Each of these fields will spawn to 2 different locations on the city edge. The 2nd field has been moved behind the 1st. It is to be used to recapture the first if it is lost. Additionally, it will have a spawn located within 1 mile of the city, behind the spawns from the 1st field. I'm hoping that this will help with spawn camping.

I am glad to see folks having fun with it. Even though it hasn't work entirely as I entended :D.

I enjoyed taking an hour to climb over the Himalayas then dropping massive amounts of ordnance on the clustered GVs around the city! :D

yes its great fun when your not GETTING KILLED BY INVISIBLE SPAWN CAMPERS WHILE IN A PANZER IN 1 SHOT...for some reason it takes about 10 seconds for enemy tanks to show up...by then your pretty much dead

The city is great fun.

Haulin at the top of 6th gear through the city in a panzer and stompin on the brakes to get a shot... I love it.  

But I have to admit, when framerates are good, and numbers are low, the sneakin around part is more challenging.


Camping, damage lag, unhittable targets, and invisible barriers all just come with the territory.  When it's good, it's good.  When it's bad, hit an airfield.

Glad you enjoyed it. I have 'adjusted' the alts in the passes for the crater. :D

Yes i am a big Fan of Tiger Town!!! Great fun...

NoBaddy..what u mean adjusted soem of the Peak passes?? higehr lower??  

I like them where they are..doesnt let so many ftrs/bomer s get in...

But i do trully love going afk in a 110g2..and coming back to shoot panzers in their bellybutton in the allys!!

Dam good time...

Forward Air Control spotting is dam fun for friendly GVs also..
