I don't know who said posts of this nature would be allowed. They aren't.

I know about thin ice and poking sticks at bears and all, but...

What exactly, or generally, was the improper "nature" of the locked post.

A thread consiting of a picture of 2 extremely obese woman who, presumably, of their own free will put on swimsuits and posed for a picture in the bed of a pickup truck and the comments this picture illicited.

There was no porn.
There was no cussing.
There was no flaming.

How was this very different that many of pictures posted in the O'Club?  How was it very different than many of the "caption this" threads?

I don't want to sound like a check6 "wall of shamer" or nothing, but dang I don't get it.

I was wondering the same thing. I've seen pics of models in swimsuits lots of times here but, for some reason, when the suit and body doesn't cause uncontrolable salivation it's inappropriate......and weird.

...uhhh....a little gas to the fire.

If the photo had been of two extremely obese men in speedo's posing in the back of a pick up, would it still have been inappropriate?

this ain't your house. it's HTC's. on some days it's cool with the owner if you spit on the rug and call the cat a bastard. on annother day it could get yah banned for life.

the rules are whatever HTC or it's reps feel like they should be on any given day.. and commentary on the right or wrong of it is pointless.

so what did we learn today?

you don't tug on supermans cape..
you don't spit into the wind,
yah don't pull the mask of the old lone ranger..
yah don't mess around with nearly nekkid fat guys
and put up pics of 'em while skuzzy's workin his shift.

Maybe skuzzy just felt like it.

Im thinking of liberty and freedom as I recite this time honored classic:

"We reserve the right to refuse service to ANYONE....for ANY reason, thank you, the Management"

Just have to go with the flow, maintain an even strain.

Yeah, I know all that Hang.  And I agree that they gotta police the boards.

The thing is I can usually look at a post and tell when its gonna get a lock.  I just didn't see the foul committed by this one.

That naked chubby dude hugging the stuffed animal was far more traumatizing as far as I am concerned.

Doesn't really matter, and I don't know why I give a crap.  Guess it just seemed outside the realm of what normally is a lockable thread.
