The new NEWs has me damned excited.

In prior scenario's "elsewhere" after I'd eventually gotten shot down I hated like hell to wait around and watch the text buffer and map to see what was happening. Now the possibility of manning fleet ack has made me a woody!

 I love growing with this new sim. Warts and all. It sure as all hell beats withering on the vine with the old one.

Very nice.  

Shame about the PVT though. But it wouldn't be so far off the mark to suggest that the new version isn't a million miles away.

i hope a ship doesnt take x pounds to sink but that its systems can be gradually taken out?


ie jam its rudder, destroy the aircraft elevators, crater the flight deck, blah blah blah

Hi!

Well, I think we have at least a weapon to counter ships: Torps.
So there's a difference between Ostis and Ships. As well as that a ship cant drive around preventing from beeing hit like a Osti.

I think there are many ppl who will get the clue really quick on how to launch torps so that they are likely to hit.

But I personally think it will be a blast. I cant wait to die 5 times in a row just trying to land on a carrier
