AGJV44 went 346 and 19 in the 190d9
xiii went 197 and 30
tartew went 128 and 25
This is from 1 squad. The rest of their squad had lots of d9 kills as well. Im not sure but the of the 13518 d9 kills they probrable got a decent percentage (maybe 1% +)of those d9 kills. We were all in the same squad when the d9 came to ah and flew it as a "squad" plane since day 1. AG has more hours in the d9 then most have in ah overall.
Plus theres plenty of other decent pilots that fly it.
I gave up on 190s for the most part and decided to fly the g6 primarily. Its completely different then 190s or 109g10. Any plane can run from you. When I fly it I am amost have to trick folks into fighting. It seems as soon as you point your nose at umm they would dive awayand extend, thinking you were a g10. I got to the point of flying at 14k and "tricking" a bad guy into attacking me. Its still pretty fun.
But the hog is a decent plane and it flies more jabo then a 190d9 so its k/d would be lower. As for a comparison between the d9 and hog I would take a d9 anyday.
But the hog isnt that bad. I flew 1 sortie in it and got 6 kills. I never fly that plane or any blue planes really. I just dont like the way the rudder feels. On lw planes you can slap the rudder around.
I never had any real dislike for the la7 its beatable, I try to fight um slow as they handle poorly at lo speed.
Spit 9s are bit more difficult depending on the situation. They, like nikis, love to get roped.
The p51 has been the most killed plane in ah for the longest time. Combine its jabo work and inexperienced pilots and you can see why. But in the hands of an expert theres nothing better.
