what I do is this: I have Adobe Photoshop where I put my pic in.
then I save the pic as a jpeg file.
you have to sizen it up so it's below 102400 bytes.

then you go to Attach file and search for your pic, this works fine to me.

Yeah had the same prob.. I found out that it has to be a .jpg, .bmp will not post to the board

Get a program like photoshop, gimp, or some image viewer/converter and adjust the quality untill you get the right size.

Both photoshop and gimp let you adjust the quality, tell you the file size, and see a preview of what the image will look like when saved.  

By converting screenshots to jpegs this way, you can get even big images under the 100k limit.
