With springs that would take more then a soft breath to move and I might use CH gear...

Until then, I can't lol I over control.

I like the CH sticks they have a nice solid feel to them but the throttles feel cheap and I did'nt like the sliding movement of the throttle as opposed to an arcing movement like the X36/X45/Cougar. It was always far too easy to accidentally move the throttle with minimal force. A tension wheel would help.

Yeah the throttle needs a redesign.  The buttons and the ministick are great, but the slider design sucks.  You get in a dogfight and start hitting buttons and hats on the throttle and then you realize you accidentally brought it back to about 75%.

Although I've never owned a sliding throttle I have used one briefly, and I have owned a couple of arcing throttles. I believe the sliding throttle to be better, there is no need for friction to counter gravity, and also no need for the scaling to accomodate the friction with a sliding throttle .

You know what. Someone should build a sliding throttle where the handle is attached, sticking out from an upright verticle base, istead of being supported over a horizontal base. In other words, kind of like the way the charging handle on an m60 machine gun works . Would this work better than the way the CH sliding throttle works ?
