Oh, one more thing

I'd like to see different tank models in AH eg. Panther, Tiger, Shermans, and T-34s...okay mebbe eliminate the Shermans
Flak Panzers for field defense and Tanks to kill em   Perhaps movable task forces of CVs and battlships etc.

In my humble, non game designer view, this is the way to go in looooong run.

I have many friends who like to play tank and infantry simulations but they are not that good in flying. Flying is fast paced aerial chess which requires lots of skill to do it right.  In reality, it takes lots of money and time to make decent combat pilot. It does not take lots of money and time to make a decent tank commander. Same goes for simulated warfare.

Expanding sim to land warfare would bring more wider player base which can't be bad since there are soon so many WW II online air combat simualtion. Only one has somekind of believeable plan for ground warfare.

Modeling tank is far more easier that modeling a airplane. I know little about this, I have constructed pretty working model of generic tank using object oriented programming. On the other hand, I have idea how to model pretty working generic airplane

When this was discussed in AGW, some folks said that they don't want land warfare because it draws attention away from their interest, WW II aviation.

I really don't see it that way. Let the tanks scurry around in ground, you can bomb them but you also can ignore them.

But think about the feeling when you see enemy panzer spearhead rolling to your city. Quick, grab Fw 190F-8 with 10 AT rockets and cluster bomb and head to stop it in 5 m altitude with your wingman. Bf 109G-6 schwarm of 4 planes flies just above and ahead of you to protect you from Yak-9's that surely will be in the area... This is it!

Heck... anything with wheels, treads, propellers, etc would be great.  I've never really been a fighter type... gimme a nice  P-47 (loaded with big eggs) , lemme go chew up some mud.

All of what you guys describe was a part of the WW2 era, and an extremely important aspect of it as well. From what I know, many interest types comprise the Flight Sim enthusiast. Perhaps AH would surpass all others by offering a little something for everyone?
