The US military is deeply involved in equipping just about everything we have with night vision technologies, from aviation assets and tanks right down to the individual infantryman.

The Iraqi essentially are not.

This news article makes me feel about the same way as when I first learned about the execution of Marie Antoinette. Sure we can accomplish our mission objectives easily enough, but how much fun is it to execute a girl?

The Battle was "Text Book"
You have to remember a CAV. Sqd. is a Battalion size element.
Which took on 1 Iraqi Div. and 1 so called "Elite" Republican Guard Div. and destroyed them.

there are no 'no action deployments', if you deploy and then there is no action, then it automaticly changes from deployment to 'deployment exercise' you didn't really deploy, you where just practicing for the day you really have to deploy.
