I live on the sierra neravadas about 1,000agl Below Grass Valley?auburn Area..that i sabout 30miles NE of Sacramento.


and thats about 300 miles South of the Emerald Triangle..

the italian guy across the street has the nicest lawn. it's concrete, painted green, with a big fountain in the middle of it.

Which tomato types do you favor. I used to be a big fan of the Beefsteaks, but lately they seem a little bland. I did have a nice crop of Romas last year.

What are you guys gonna plant?

Roma's are good, but the beefsteaks make better salsa IMHO. I'm gonna try to grow my own peppers this year, serranos and Jabaneros.
