I find it fascinating how people see "Open forum for off-topic and less serious discussions." from various perspectives.

What is "less serious" to me, is not what it is to others.

However, there are those that do nothing but post links to other sites with the sole purpose of starting problems.  They, themselves, never post in the thread once they start it.
I can see them rolling on the floor laughing at what ensues, as it appears people just do not see what they are doing.

I miss the light-hearted discussions that used to purvey this forum, but if you took out all the heavy-handed threads, there would only be a couple of threads, in this forum, started each week.

Some have suggested a new forum for the heavy discussions, but that really will not solve the situation.

Personally, I am a bit tired of the trolls, but as long as people keep responding to them within the confines of the discussion, there is not much that can be done.
