Don't know if this is true or not but got a chuckle outta me...

It appears the during the weekend the Brit Army was practicing and prepping for the upcoming possiblities of War. No sooner had they finished the first volleys of mortor fire during test firing, then along came a dozon or more Iraqi soldiers with white flag in hand trying to surrender. They had believed the War had stated. Much to their amazement the Brits ordered the Iraqi's back across the border.
It was also said that the Iraqi's looked starved as if they hadn't eatened anything for some time.

*Note to Iraqi Soldiers* Wait until the Jets, Tanks and Missles are behind you before surrendering. See ya next week.

*Note to France* You've taught the Iraqi's well.

LOL Iron.. I had the very same thought. That sim had so much promise.. then fell flat on it's face. I even had a lil 9" B&W monitor rigged under the desk for the radar.

face it muck... it wasn't exactly the cleverest thing to come up with.

I thought it sucked not only because it was in really poor taste considering the gravity of the situation but.... it was pretty moronic and unimaginative... course... what should I expect from someone who's imagination is stretched by "gee... if i crash enough bomb laden planes into all the buildings at this field I will have achieved.... strat!"

as for "squeak"... I think a POS like you would be well advised to remain a virtual hero.

sour... think you miss the point... there was nothing clever about it. If, for instance someone said that a well known member of AH community just had his wife and children die in a car wreck and then "suckered" people into replying... does that make the guy clever or just more of an ahole than most? I submit that it makes him the latter.

Now compare with some of airheads gems... lot's of imagination and humor in ol airheads stuff...something you can sink your teet into... not the clumsy "yelling fire in the theatre" fart jokes of mr muck.

guess .. stupid and lazy even more than "poor taste" is the main thing here.

Well Lazs, I am still laughing about it.

Alot of others got a quick laugh out of it, or at least were good sports. Considering the "gravity" as you put it, I think alot of people needed a little gag.

It's even funnier, seeing as it bothers you so much.

Just admit it. You've had a personal problem with me, since we locked horns a year ago about the whole skilless Bomber pilot thing.

Sine then, I've tried to be nice to you, and be mature on the main BBS, but I've come to the conclusion that your nothing but a whiny little squeak, just looking to serve your own goals while berating others under the guise of being helpful to the community. Your not a team player. Hell, I've even congratulated you when I see you land 2 or more kills. It's the civil thing to do. Have you ever said thanks? No. Your a miserable, self centered person. I've shared the same sky with you, dove to clear your six, and never once got a word of thanks.

Maybe I don't have a great sense of humor.You know what would solve the problem, here? Let's move the fields closer together, and make a fighter only area...oh wait, thats your answer for everything.
