Gotta wonder one thing...... are prices the same now as when musicals first got going around 1920? No, I guess not.
Did actors, musicians and ushers get raises since then? Yes, I guess so.
Did ticket prices rise to cover the cost of increased salaries? Yes, most certainly.
Was that ticket price rise the end of Broadway?
Apparently not..... they've been staging musicals there for over 80 years, price increases and all.
