Are you running a firewall? If so it has to be set to run the current version of ah, zonealarm will lock while going on line.

I'm running ZA, but I shut it down to start new version. When it runs ok, I remove old version from program list of ZA and add the new version.
But it won't even let me log in without ZA active.

I played 5 ours earlier in old version and everything was ok.

Apar - are you running Pro or freebee version.

If you are running Pro, add the new executable to the exclude list manually.  Otherwise, you'll have to figure out a way to alt-tab out when you try to connect - which for me = lockup.

I had to disable Zonealarm whenever I play Aces High.

BTW - Mcafee's firewall is 1000 times better than Zone Alarm.

Thx for the help guys.

I downloaded the full 1113 package and installed it over the old version.

It runs now, something must have been corrupted by patching it.

Anyway I'm back in the game

Next time you have a new AH patch and fire it up, press "R" (Remember) and "Y" (Yes). (or alt tab and you'll see the ZA popup)

In ZoneAlarm, bring up the Programs list and right click on the AH.exe listing and check 'Changes Frequently' and then OK it.  This keep access permission for AH when you install new patches.
