New System
« on: March 11, 2003, 08:45:01 PM »
I upgraded my computer today to a AMD 2600 processor with 512 meg of 333 ram and a ATI 9700 video card and a 400 watt power supply and a snazzy new case with blue plastic panels on the front.

Man is it fast. Was playing WW2OL just now. Graphics were awesome. I will try AH tomorrow and see how it plays now.

:D

The whole upgrade was only $750 Canadian (plus another $500 for the vid card), about $500 USD ($800 or so with vid card). I cannot believe how cheap systems are these days.

I kept my old CD burner and hard drive and floppy drive but everything else was replaced.

sweet, habu!

I second what Animal said:

Splinter Cell is gorgeous.
Haven't played IL2:FB yet.

How is the C&C Generals gameplay?  Similar to the original or Red Alert?

I have been looking for Forgotten Battles. When I see it I will definitely buy it.

How is the head to head play?
